The functionality of Green Building expands and complements design concerns of economy, utility, durability and comfort with key features being stated as: less water usage, optimized energy efficiency, conservation of natural resources, generation of less water, and providing healthy living spaces to occupants.
The objectives can be listed as: reducing impact of overall human health and natural environment through efficient use of energy, water and other resources; protecting occupant health and improving employee productivity; reducing waste and preventing environmental degradation.
